We are seeking a passionate and driven Chief Revenue Officer who is fluent in Dutch to join our dynamic team in Brussels. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our vision while working in a flexible and innovative environment.

Your Role:

As a Chief Revenue Officer, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Pulse’s income streams and expanding its donor base. In close collaboration with the CEO, you will be responsible for driving and executing strategic partnerships, uncovering innovative opportunities, and strengthening our position as a key enabler of entrepreneurship in Belgium. A dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset is essential for success in this role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development
    • Revenue Roadmap: Develop and implement a multi-year strategy to diversify revenue streams and scale income sources.
    • Innovative Ideas and Revenue Diversification:Brainstorm and test bold, out-of-the-box ideas for generating sustainable income.
    • Market and Ecosystem Analysis: Continuously analyze trends in entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and fundraising to identify new opportunities for Pulse
  • Donor and Major Gift Development
    • Expand Donor Network: Identify and onboard new supporters aligned with Pulse’s mission.
    • Deepen Donor Engagement: Develop tailored engagement strategies for existing donors.
  • Relationship Management and Collaboration
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, government officials, and ecosystem partners.
    • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of growth initiatives with Pulse’s mission, values, and programs.
    • Pulse Ambassador: Represent Pulse at high-profile events, conferences, and meetings, acting as an advocate for the foundation’s mission.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a candidate who embodies our values and is ready to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional Experience
    • Proven track record in fundraising, sales, business development, or partnership management.
    • Innovative Revenue Models: Demonstrated experience in developing or managing innovative revenue-generating projects or ventures.

    • Strategic Thinking while hands-on master: Ability to craft and execute comprehensive growth strategies, aligning with organizational objectives and ability to deploy and operate vision.
    • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, from donors to public officials.
    • Creativity and Innovation: A forward-thinking approach to uncovering and piloting new income streams.
    • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet ambitious targets and adapt strategies as needed.
    • Analytical Skills: Competence in financial planning, budgeting, and impact measurement for growth initiatives.
    • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Dutch (native), English and fluent in French.
